R404A, is a hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) refrigerant blend used as a replacement for R-502 and R-22 in commercial refrigeration systems, particularly for low and medium temperature applications. It is a non-flammable and low toxicity refrigerant with an ASHRAE A1 safety classification.
